Editorial policy
A deliberately narrow catalog
Progression Fantasy World includes stories where measurable power growth—levels, ranks, realms, stages, attunements, or mastered abilities—is a central story engine.
What belongs
Progression must be sustained, consequential, and visible across the series. A fantasy novel does not qualify merely because its hero becomes stronger.
General fantasy, incidental training arcs, and LitRPG where progression is not central are excluded. Borderline cases are held back rather than used to make the catalog look larger.
How facts are recorded
Series are the primary catalog unit. Reading order, authors, progression system, publication status, availability, and individual volumes are checked separately.
Publication ranges use the first commercial book edition, not an earlier web-serial start date. Ratings are dated editorial snapshots from the named source, not live scores.
Retailer links are shown at series level unless a specific volume URL has been verified. Missing links are left blank rather than guessed.
Corrections
Catalog facts can change. Send the series or book title, the incorrect field, and a primary source to corrections@progressionfantasy.world. Corrections are reviewed before publication.
