It had seemed like a dream offer: paint a mural, $15,000. But the client lures muralist Duke onto a private server of Kaiju: Battlefield Surgeon, a brutal full-immersion survival-horror game where fantasy races clash with technology and giant kaiju guard the gates of heaven from demons. Duke must play the last of the battlefield surgeons, a healer keeping the behemoths alive, on a server whose sadistic players exploit full pain and realistic anatomy to torture victims and resurrect them to do it again. To survive, Duke must play, win, and become the most ruthless monster of all.
