Ajax's Ascension
Keleros
Reborn on Gryndor with the mythical trait [Divine Witness], Ajax swears to live a life of no regrets. Humans are the weakest sentient race on Gryndor, confined and divided, yet Ajax must battle for respect, gain levels, and force other races to acknowledge humanity's worth. Each volume follows Ajax from village militia to Capital Academy, Barony, international tournament, foreign dungeon delves in Sylvanthal and Deepwood, and finally a Duchy encompassing his home village and Lessis, with every stage gated by levels, dungeon clears, and Academy advancement.
Progression: Level-based LitRPG progression is central and explicit, verified via Goodreads series 414531 and six book blurbs. Mechanics: (1) Levels & Traits — reincarnation grants mythical trait [Divine Witness]; Ajax gains levels by fighting monsters, plundering treasures, and completing dungeon delves; blurbs explicitly reference 'gaining levels' and 'forcing the other races to acknowledge his worth'. (2) Dungeons as gated power ladders — village-adjacent dungeon for Capital preparation, Capital dungeons as regular challenges, and foreign Dungeons of Sylvanthal and Deepwood as international-stage breakthroughs; each volume's title (Capital, Baron, Tournament, Delves, Duchy) marks tier advancement. (3) Academy & Nobility ranks — joining the Academy in the Capital, then Baron then Duchy, with nobles and talented generation peers as rank benchmarks; talent vs station tension is explicit. (4) Quantified alchemy/experiments and tournament rankings — under-50 international tournament victory and subsequent foreign delves provide external validation of power. Progression drives plot, never peripheral.
