Alexa Thyme
Lykanthropy
In a world filled with monsters and supernatural entities, schools and extracurricular activities identify candidates worthy of advancing. Alexa Thyme is gifted with an intelligent mind and no emotions except when she increases her attributes. Determined to advance and grow her attributes as much as possible, she applies herself to academic and sports competitions where success means life or death. As she awakens as a super, she faces political intrigue, mad countesses, dragons breaking free, necromancers, and otherworldly protectors, balancing personal relationships and dual personalities while striding a treacherous path of ascension to become a hero.
Progression: Attribute-based advancement and super awakening. Academic and dungeon performance grants quantifiable attribute increases; awakening as a super is the central tier breakthrough. Later volumes track hero-path ascension, glass-magic upgrades, and rank-like prestige through dragon-slaying and world-wide eradication missions. Reviews note 'attributes', 'max level of power in 3 new magics', and series blurbs describe 'path of ascension' and 'increases her attributes' as the sole guiding purpose.
