Luke is an apprentice leatherworker whose life changes when the Hollow Kingdom drafts everyone seventeen or older for Potential testing. While his friends earn powerful Ascender classes, Luke barely passes -- and is then pulled through a portal to a plane that shouldn't exist, with no class trainer and little hope of survival. His answer: abandon humanity-first caution and grind levels through pure combat as a classless killer. Across three books (Something, Anything, Everything), Luke and his team fight monsters, the Dynasty of Dogs invasion, assassins, and the desert itself, growing from drafted recruits into Ascenders powerful enough to change the fate of kingdoms.

Progression: Ascender Corps LitRPG progression: at seventeen everyone is tested for 'Potential'. Those with Potential join the Ascender Corps with combat/crafting classes, gaining levels, skills, and gear through dungeon and portal combat; those without are drafted into the Legion. Potentia (portal-plane energy) enables plane-hopping between the Hollow Kingdom, the Scarroco Desert, and Murder World. Luke begins with barely-passing Potential and no class trainer after being pulled to a plane that shouldn't exist, and progresses as a classless 'Murderhobo' build that grinds levels purely through continuous combat. References to Lvl 50 Ascenders confirm explicit numeric levels as the advancement ladder across the trilogy.
