The Hapless Dungeon Fairy
Jonathan Brooks
Tacca GloomLily only ever wanted to be a Fairy Assistant to a Dungeon Core — but her horrendous bad luck destroys every Core she nears, until her soul ends up inside one and she becomes a Dungeon Core herself. Across four completed volumes (The Dungeon Fairy, Two Choices, Three Lives, Four Days), she builds and expands her dungeon, earns Core Improvement Points from Raider delves, survives a coordinated interdimensional invasion, and brings the saga to a definitive close.
Progression: LitRPG dungeon-core progression with comedic fairy-assistant framing. Tacca GloomLily goes from Dungeon Assistant graduate to Dungeon Core herself when her bad luck pulls her soul into a Core. Cores earn Core Improvement Points from Raider delves and deaths, spending them on dungeon construction, traps, monsters, restocking, and expanding into new sections tiered for progressively stronger Raiders. Later volumes add the Omen Charge Ability and Nursery Cores, with explicit character progression and stats throughout — dungeon growth is the central advancement ladder across all four volumes.
