Strength Based Wizard
RMCollinwood
For some wizards, Intelligence is just a dump stat. Joseph Sullivan is at an all-time low. He lost his job, his fiancée dumped him, he moved back to the Midwest and currently lives in his parents' basement — oh, and his workout was just interrupted with the arrival of the System. Earth has become a playing field in a contest amongst the gods, where mortals compete for power and survival. Unlike traditional wizards who pour points into Intelligence, Joseph becomes a Muscle Mage, wielding strength-based wizardry. Originally a Royal Road webserial (fiction/106006, BOOK 2 COMPLETE, 818 ratings 4.54/5) with LitRPG, progression, strategy, comedy, and urban fantasy tags, Strength Based Wizard follows Joe's System progression through god contests, strength-based spells, and rising fantasy ranks with 5 chapters weekly Mon-Fri.
Progression: LitRPG System integration progression with explicit stat-build level ladder and strength-based wizard inversion. Core system is gods' contest where Earth's playing field grants System to mortals — quantified progression includes Intelligence as dump stat, Strength-based wizard build, classes, levels, and god-contest ranking. Advancement is not metaphorical: hierarchical tiers include basement-to-battlefield System arrival, god contest playing field, mortal ranking, and wizard spell strength scaling via physical power rather than Intelligence. Royal Road genres [litrpg, progression, urban_fantasy, strategy, comedy] plus description 'For some wizards, Intelligence is just a dump stat. Strength Based Wizard is a fun twist on an iconic class in both video games and table top RPGs. System integration, BOOK 2 COMPLETE' corroborate structured level/rank ladder as central engine. Each book marks quantified advancement: Book 1 System arrival and Muscle Mage foundation (job loss to basement to System), Book 2 continued god-contest progression and strength-wizard mastery with 5 weekly chapters and Rising Stars Fantasy ranking.
