The Dungeon Slayer
Konrad Ryan
Earth was ravaged fifty years ago by Raekast, a monster with unending power. Mankind's only hope sprang up in the form of Rebirth — a way for humans to unlock their inner potential. 99% of rebirths are duds. Tad Harrington, a bullied 16-year-old video-game lover, craves more than anything to be reborn a slayer with enough power to delve into dungeons, kill monsters and find loot. When he discovers his Rebirth is special — one that can level up and grow stronger by defeating monsters — he starts from level one to climb as high as he can, facing the class tower, warrior and champion rank trials, Titanspawn dungeons, and the ultimate dungeon Titan, while the sky over Earth is blocked by Titanspawn and dungeons explode across the globe.
Progression: LitRPG Rebirth & Dungeon-Delving Rank Progression. Central advancement is the Rebirth System: humans undergo Rebirth to unlock classes, stats, and levels that increase by defeating monsters and clearing dungeons. Progression is gated by explicit rank-up trials — warrior trial, champion rank-up, warlord class trial — each requiring dungeon raids and boss kills to advance. The System tracks levels (starting at 1), stat growth, loot, and skill ranks. Dungeons are tiered by difficulty (gold key, class tower, void battles) culminating in the ultimate dungeon Titan with aspect-wielders (Zero) and infinite prisoners. Failed Rebirths (99% duds) vs. special leveling Rebirth creates scarcity and measurement. Can he overcome the challenges and become the ultimate dungeon slayer?'
