The Infinite World
J.T. Wright
The Infinite World is ever-changing and ever growing: new nations and races rise and fall, new Classes are discovered as old ways are lost, and monsters roam the earth. Summoned into this chaos, a nameless boy bound to a master who doesn't care whether he lives or dies must become stronger. Across four books, Trent Embra survives Guard Trials, follows Quests issued by his Status, and grows from summoned nobody to Adventurer leader heading into the uncivilized west.
Progression: LitRPG structured advancement: the Infinite World grants Classes (new Classes discovered as old ways are lost), a personal Status issuing Quests (e.g. survive alone in the wilds), survival-type Trials run by the Guard, Adventurer profession with wilderness ranks, and Storage/inventory mechanics. Protagonist Trent Embra advances book-over-book through Trials, Quests and Adventurer tiers — power growth is quantified and central, not background.
