The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound
Noret Flood
Randidly Ghosthound felt lost and alone even before the System transformed the Earth. When every person must suddenly deal with Levels, Skills, monsters, and the very real possibility of death, Randidly starts in an isolated Dungeon far beyond his Level, forced to rely on the mysterious Traveler Shal to learn and survive. After hellish months in the Dungeon (only half a day on Earth), he emerges to help build a small enclave of survivors while balancing responsibility against hostile towns — unaware the System has sent down a Tribulation monitoring his every move. A long-running System-apocalypse saga (Royal Road → Aethon Books) where grinding, Skill evolution, and Dungeon dives gate every arc.
Progression: Explicit System-apocalypse progression central to every arc. The Earth is transformed by a System that imposes numeric Levels, Stats, Skills, Classes/Paths, and Dungeon mechanics on all people. Randidly earns XP by killing monsters, leveling up, allocating stat points, and acquiring/evolving Skills through use (e.g., combat, crafting, and heritage Skills). Dungeon runs beyond his Level gate forced growth; rare Skills evolve into higher tiers and consolidate into Paths, with Tribulation events monitoring anomalies. Progression is measured via System screens showing Level, Health/Mana/Stamina, Stats (Vitality, Perception, etc.), Skills and Classes. Grinding, Skill leveling, and Path evolution drive all power jumps, with Village/Town building and faction politics gated by personal power.
