Welcome to the Multiverse
Sean Oswald
Silas is inducted into the System as Earth's last Forerunner in a deadly multiversal competition. Five worlds' Forerunners compete for survival: victory means induction into the multiverse, failure means becoming a dungeon world or mining husk. The apocalypse is a System-enforced secret with only a year to prepare, forcing Silas to level rapidly, master classes, skills, and System mechanics while building a team, gaining mentors, cheating the System, and surviving the Wild Hunt where Forerunners hunt each other. From mana-infected animals to contested worlds, sects, guilds, and incursion parties, each book escalates Silas's power, allies, and responsibilities as Earth itself hangs in the balance. A LitRPG System apocalypse progression fantasy serialized and published across 12 volumes.
Progression: Explicit LitRPG System progression. Silas is inducted as one of Earth's Forerunners — five chosen per world to compete before the System apocalypse. Progression is quantified via System levels, classes that rank up, skills, titles, and boons, with early momentum acting as a force multiplier (rich-get-richer leveling). Forerunners earn world points through missions and dungeon challenges; death allows Inheritor succession. Core mechanics include System-enforced secrecy (cannot discuss System with non-inducted), the Wild Hunt (Forerunners hunted/hunting each other), mana-infected beasts, contested-world declarations where multiple Systems vie for Earth, sect/guild/incursion control battles, and mentorship foundation training. Each volume marks power tiers: Induction (System entry, Forerunner revelation), Countdown (mentor, system-cheating, team growth), Collapse (mana beasts, Wild Hunt prep, training week), Resistance (Wild Hunt, alliance forging, second System temptation), Contention (Earth declared contested, multi-System competition), Control onward (apocalypse arrival, resource control, multiverse factions, auction for ultimate power, Order on Aerth, and forging a new balance). Verified via Goodreads book descriptions (System, Forerunners, world points, levels, Wild Hunt, contested world, dungeon worlds) and genre tags LitRPG/System Apocalypse. The series is tagged LitRPG, Gamelit, System Apocalypse, and related progression tags on Goodreads.
