Apocalypse Arena
J. Pal
An action-packed apocalyptic LitRPG where the multiverse's champions battle to keep the Scourge at bay. Nil is done feeling small watching his family scrape by. When saving an innocent from a drug-crazed superhuman wins the Nexus' attention, he gets a shot at the Apocalypse Arena — where multiversal gauntlets determine survival. Pain, death, and heartbreak await all who run the gauntlets, but Nil's unique talent — the stronger his opponent, the harder he hits — lets him grapple his way up. From Mortal Gauntlet to Iron Gauntlet and Bronze Gauntlet, Nil trains on worlds of magic, cultivators, and advanced technology, competing against Earth's strongest Bronze-ranked fighters for a place in the Cleansing to stop the Scourge, enemy of all life.
Progression: Explicit, central System progression fusing LitRPG, Cultivation and super powers. The Nexus grants a unique System quantified by gauntlets and ranks: Mortal Gauntlet → Iron Gauntlet → Bronze Gauntlet → Cleansing. Progression gates on gauntlet completion, Bronze-ranked fighter status, and Scourge-related missions. Power scales via LitRPG levels/stats, cultivation tiers, and super-powered abilities (Nil's scaling: stronger opponent = harder hits, grappling). Each volume is a gauntlet tier with battle royales, gladiator fights, and combat games where death is possible; training arcs on magic/cultivation/tech worlds are preparation for next mission. Multiverse watchers, loyalty tests, and powermongers competing for Cleansing slots make advancement the engine of plot.
