Battle Mage Farmer
Seth Ring
After the System apocalypse transforms Earth, former soldier John Sutton embraces the rare Battle Mage class — a hybrid of martial combat and arcane farming. Granted explicit Levels, Stats, Skills and class evolutions by the System, he must level both his farm and his battle magic to defend his settlement against escalating apocalyptic monsters. The series blends LitRPG apocalypse progression with cozy farming, settlement building and tactical combat, where every harvest, craft and monster kill drives quantified advancement. Ten books deep (nine currently cataloged), it is a high-confidence ongoing progression fantasy where structured System advancement is central to every arc.
Progression: Explicit LitRPG System apocalypse is central and quantified on every page. The System grants numbered Levels, numeric Stats (Strength, Intelligence, Agility, etc.), Skills, Spells and Class evolutions — John Sutton holds the rare Battle Mage Farmer class that levels through both farming and combat. Progression is earned by killing monsters, harvesting magical crops, clearing apocalyptic zones and upgrading the settlement; each action yields System messages, stat allocations and Skill rank-ups. Tiered class ascension (Domestication → Germination → Cultivation etc. mirrors farming stages), settlement levels and magical farming techniques gate power. Reviewers and Goodreads descriptions confirm 'levels, stats, skills' and LitRPG advancement as the core loop, with farming itself as a progression mechanic.
