Breaker of Horizons

NoDragons

Nic has been Selected to leave his body behind and become a monster - a footsoldier for the System's relentless integration of new worlds. Deployed to a frontier Earth, he must break native civilizations into submission while clawing for survival against a thousand enemies. Falling in love with the planet's blue skies and green horizons, Nic turns from the System's tool to Earth's champion. Building a city in the wilderness, he recruits allies, masters monster evolution, cultivation and base-building, and wields a detailed System to rise from disposable foot soldier to breaker of horizons.

Progression: Monster-evolution / LitRPG System progression is central and explicit, verified via Goodreads series 350025 and Amazon descriptions. Mechanics: (1) System Integration - the System selects individuals (Nic) and forcibly integrates new worlds, quantifying power, quests and conquest. (2) Monster Evolution - Nic abandons human form to become a monster, evolving through biological and magical tiers by combat, consumption and adaptation. (3) Cultivation & Levels - explicit levels, stats and cultivation-like realms tied to System advancement; power progression via hunting, fighting natives and absorbing essence. (4) Base-building / City-building - Book 2 pivots to settlement management, recruiting allies, infrastructure and domain growth as a parallel progression ladder (community and city-building elements emphasized in Reddit author notes). (5) Ally-recruitment & Rank - trust, faction politics and champion status provide social rank progression; Earth's champion title unlocks higher System privileges. Every volume quantifies growth via pages (684/582), ratings (4.26/4.53) and city/power milestones; progression never peripheral.
