Coiling Dragon
Wo Chi Xi Hong Shi
Linley is a young noble of the declining Baruch clan, once the legendary Dragonblood Warriors who dominated the Yulan Continent. Living in the small town of Wushan, Linley discovers a mysterious coiling-dragon ring that houses the Grandpa Doehring Cowart, and embarks on a cultivation journey to reclaim his clan's glory. Empires rise and fall on the Yulan Continent where Saints battle with spells and swords, magical beasts rule mountains, and the strong live like royalty while the weak struggle to survive. Over 21 volumes, Linley trains as both warrior and mage, befriends powerful allies, faces deadly enemies, and ascends from mortal to Saint to Deity across planes including the Yulan Plane, the Necropolis of the Gods, the Infernal Realm and beyond.
Progression: Explicit Xianxia cultivation system central to the entire saga. Mortals advance through Warrior ranks 1-9, then Saint (entry to transcendent), then Deity tiers: Demigod, God, Highgod. Parallel Mage path ranks 1-9 then Saint, with elemental affinities (earth, fire, water, wind, etc.). Beyond raw rank, advancement requires comprehension of Laws and Edicts (e.g., Earth Laws: Throbbing Pulse, Gravitational Space) and fusing profound mysteries—each fusion is a discrete breakthrough gating power spikes. Bloodline awakening as Dragonblood Warrior provides a transformation and innate progression axis (Warrior + Dragonblood form). Artifacts (Coiling Dragon ring, godartifacts like Bloodviolet), divine sparks/grids, and Sovereign power provide additional quantified tiers. Every battle, training arc, and realm transition is explicitly ranked and foregrounded; rank determines lifespan, political standing, and plane access.
