Chen Ge inherits his missing parents' bankrupt haunted house theme park on the outskirts of the city. On the verge of closing, he discovers a mysterious black smartphone that issues nightmarish missions — explore a midnight hearse, a dripping faucet, an apartment where a rubber ball rolls on its own. Each task forces him into real haunted locations where vengeful spirits and urban legends lurk. Success rewards him with haunted house scenario upgrades, rare ghosts and loyal specters who become employees. As Chen Ge collects entities like the Pen Spirit, the well-dwelling Xiaoxiao and the midnight morgue's Xu Yin, his dilapidated attraction transforms into the city's most terrifying and beloved haunt, while the phone's deeper secret pulls him toward the truth of his parents' disappearance.
Progression: Structured, central dungeon/core progression: Chen Ge's black smartphone acts as an explicit System that issues graded horror missions (daily, mainline and hidden). Clearing haunted sites rewards scenario unlocks, star-ratings, reputation, cash, and collectible ghosts that become upgradeable haunted-house employees with distinct abilities (possession, illusions, brute strength). Each recruited spirit can be nurtured, ranked and assigned to themed attractions — the haunted house itself levels from a failing 1-star shack to a sprawling S-rank theme park with expandable wings, traps and ghost-powered sets.
