Overpowered Wizard
Hunter Mythos
Zarian Darkrun, a Marine Corps Veteran tired of being a homeless reject, ends his earthly ties and portals himself, nine fellow Floridians and some koi fish into the Infinita Star System — a universe of epic fantasy and game-like magic. Only the strong can adventure and ascend from the lower worlds to the higher worlds of the Star System, where tyrants and crusaders seek godhood or the empty Throne of the Adventurer King. As the mysterious Honored Outsider whose origins scare the System itself, Zarian embraces his new life making unique friends, learning evil spells, copying rare skills, and wrecking the plans of gods. Across four volumes he leads a strong adventurer party, advances his massive and terrifying power, confronts ranked factions, an Elf Empire that has ruled for five eras, divine forces trying to seal or devour him, and a multiverse tournament — speedrunning his way to God Rank with his Florida Man chaos, class progression, spell craft, training arcs, hyperbolic time chambers, skill combiners, artificial dungeons, and siege battles.
Progression: Explicit LitRPG + System Ascension progression verified via Goodreads series descriptions (4/4 volumes contain 'Progression LitRPG'). (1) Infinita Star System World Ladder: Reality is a tiered universe of lower → higher worlds; 'Only the strong can adventure and ascend from the lower worlds to the higher worlds of the Star System' — advancement requires adventuring strength to ascend worlds, with the pinnacle being godhood and the empty Throne of the Adventurer King. (2) System & Class Progression: Game-like System governs classes, achievements, quests, dungeons, dragons, ranked factions, and rare skills — Zarian 'advances his massive and terrifying power' by learning evil spells/copying rare skills, class progression, spell craft, training arcs, skill combiners, hyperbolic time chambers, mythical cursed items, and artificial dungeons. The System itself fears his mysterious Honored Outsider origin. (3) Rank & Godhood Tiers: Power is explicitly ranked — Zarian must 'speedrun his way to God Rank' via tournament arcs, fallout from cosmic crash-outs, sealing battles, and multiverse threats, with divine forces and ranked factions gatekeeping ascension; his Florida Man OP wizard nature lets him break and remake those tiers.
