Shadow Clone Sorcery

JPwrites

He who doesn't play well with others, plays with himself. Lukas Zaun has been a thief, an assassin, a spy, an ambassador, the herald of a dragon god, and a demon lord's enforcer — and he did it all sitting on the beach, watching the waves, enjoying a cup of tea. That's the advantage of having clones. Now he wants to become an archmage and try his hand at godhood. It means starting from scratch in a new body and on a new world, but that's no problem for someone who can be in several places simultaneously. Pursuits of a lifetime mean little to a man who lives multiple days while others toil through one. Book 2 complete on Royal Road.

Progression: Central, explicit clone-based magical progression. Protagonist Lukas Zaun retains memories and achievements across lives (thief, assassin, spy, dragon herald, demon enforcer) and leverages shadow clones to parallel-process training and experience — living multiple days per calendar day. Current arc is structured weak-to-strong archmage-to-godhood progression: starting from scratch in a new body/world, climbing mage ranks/tiers toward archmage and divinity, with clone replication multiplying training throughput, spell mastery, and cultivation efficiency. Progression is LitRPG-adjacent (RoyalRoad genres: litrpg, progression) with explicit rank advancement and clone-enabled accelerated advancement.
