The Beginning After The End
TurtleMe
King Grey, unrivaled in strength, wealth and prestige in a world governed by martial ability, dies and is reincarnated as Arthur Leywin in the world of Dicathen — a realm of magic, monsters, and mana. Retaining his past life's memories and battle intellect, Arthur is born to loving parents and vows to live differently. As he grows, he discovers Dicathen runs on mana manipulation via mana cores, with mages divided into augmenters and conjurers, Beast Wills, and later aether and Fate. What starts as a second chance at childhood becomes an epic spanning Xyrus Academy, dungeon Relictombs, intercontinental war between Dicathen and Alacrya, and godlike asuras and Vritra — with Arthur's progression from infant prodigy to mage, adventurer Note, and key to the world's fate at the center.
Progression: Explicit, central mana-core cultivation system with strictly ranked tiers. All mages form and refine a mana core that visibly changes color, marking power: Black (formation) → Red (with Light Red/Dark Red and solid stages) → Orange → Yellow → Silver (with White core as legendary apex). Within each color, core cracks, reforms and solidifies, gated by mana purification, meditation, and combat. Augmenters enhance body with mana, Conjurers project mana externally — class branches that shape spellcraft. Later arcs add Beast Will (absorbing mana beast will), aether manipulation (vivum, aevum, etc.), godrune acquisition, and Fate manipulation as higher-tier advancements that gate dungeon depth (Relictombs), Academy rank, and war standing. Levels are not numeric but color/breakthrough quantified, repeatedly foregrounded via training arcs, Academy exams, dungeon trials, and war power-scaling.
