The Divine Elements
Daman
An orphan boy tries to forge his own destiny in order to seek the strength to avenge the deaths of his family, as he shatters the chains of servitude. Calron loses his family the day before his eighth birthday; a mysterious bolt of Azure Lightning invades his body and wakes a forgotten element. Perfect for fans of Cradle by Will Wight and other wuxia, xianxia and progression fantasy series.
Progression: Xianxia elemental cultivation: cultivators inherit an element (Lightning, etc.) and advance through explicit cultivation ranks via training, martial arts, and taming powers of the Dao. Calron begins as a servant-class Lightning Cultivator whose element is considered the weakest, then awakens Azure Lightning and climbs weak-to-strong through cultivation ranks, beast encounters, and clan/bloodline legacies across five volumes.
