This Trilogy is Broken

J.P. Valentine

Evelia 'Eve' Greene receives her life quest from the Questing Stones: a seemingly joke errand to fetch a loaf of bread. Starting as a Level 1 Messenger Girl in the land of Leshk, Eve and her party (Wes, Preston, and the hatchling Reginald) grind levels, earn exp, and climb from a bullshit Legendary-difficulty tutorial quest through the monster-infested Dead Fields to the gates of the Dragonwrought, the greatest adventuring company in the land - ending in a war between high-level factions. A comedy LitRPG adventure where the game system itself is broken.

Progression: Comedy LitRPG with explicit game-mechanical advancement central to the plot: numbered character levels (protagonist starts as a Level 1 Messenger Girl), classes with rarity tiers (characters look down on lower levels and lower-rarity classes), experience points earned from quests and monster kills, active level grinding to survive over-leveled zones, quest difficulty ratings (up to Legendary), side-quest systems, adventuring-company guild ranks (Dragonwrought), and high-level factions whose power tiers drive the finale's war. Blurbs repeatedly hinge on exp gain, picking up levels, and grinding out of danger.
