When an alien invasion threatens everyone she loves, cybernetic samurai Cat LeBlanc must upgrade her warrior skills. New Montreal is ground zero for the Antithesis burrowing beneath continents. Cadet samurai Cat — a week into her role with unorthodox explosive style — joins Gomorrah, Grasshopper and Emoscythe Mordeath Noir on the frontlines. She needs stronger armor and more powerful weapons to defeat endless hordes while protecting Lucy and the kittens, as command debates warfare methods that could leave mass destruction.
