Confronted with corruption and crime, cyborg samurai Cat LeBlanc fights to protect a city targeted by aliens. New Montreal's infrastructure crumbles as corporations slack. Supposedly on vacation with Lucy and the kittens, Cat is drawn to a nonprofit clinic producing free prosthetics — whose samurai tech is priceless on the black market. As gangs loot the clinic and kitten Rac joins mercenaries targeted by a private military company, Cat tracks the stolen goods while the Antithesis prepares another invasion.
